Helen's Foundation Gardens - Ridgeland, Wisconsin

This project was done on site during the first weeks of May, 2k4. Helen (my cousin) opened her
greenhouse the week before Mother's Day. When I arrived, it was litle more than a construction site,

but soon blossomed into a beautiful retail location.

Foundation Garden's is built on an old barn foundation, and has minimalist accessories: cement blocks, salvaged planks, an old work bench from the local sawmill, and even a door propped up on some plastic shelving units for the checkout counter.

Sections of the walls had to be rebuilt and at the time of this construction, were not yet finished. Nonetheless there was lots of concrete debris to remove, and the interior power washed out before planting could begin.

My job was to help with the cleanout, paint, make roadside signs, advertising graphics and newspaper article graphics.

In addition to what we planted, a trip to an Amish auction filled out the inventory.

Thr virtual baskets of flowers look weird for 3D. They were done this way to keep the render time under a week and within my systems capabilities. I may try the again with fractals and arrays and duplications.

This pretty model of the greenhouse is what it looks like under a full-moon.
